As a female entrepreneur in the UK, I know firsthand the daily challenges of running a small business. The struggle to balance day-to-day operations with finding time for strategic growth can be overwhelming, especially if you are looking after a young family too. Many entrepreneurs, especially those like me, pour their hearts into their businesses but often find themselves caught in the weeds, unable to step back and see the bigger picture. The constant stress of numbers—making sure you have enough to pay bills and salaries at the end of the month, trying to improve your gross and net margins, knowing how much it costs to acquire a customer, how to effectively allocate marketing budgets —has become a painful reality for many.
The Solution
My coaching journey began with a desire to help business owners like myself escape this cycle. I sought out training and became an Entrepreneurs Circle (EC) certified business coach, gaining access to tried and tested models designed to empower business owners to build a profitable business that fits their desired lifestyle. I now understand that the key to growth lies not in working harder but in working smarter. I was inspired to create "Removing Limits," a coaching service dedicated to helping UK-owned businesses. My mission is to guide business owners through understanding their numbers, refining their marketing strategies to attract the right customers on a consistent basis, and ultimately growing their profits to make their business work for them.
Based on proven EC methodologies, I've developed a simple three-step plan to help my clients reach their goals: 1) Schedule a call to discuss your business challenges and goals; 2) Begin your coaching journey where together, we will implement changes to your business which will have a lasting impact on your bottom line; 3) Watch your business transform - many clients see improvements in key metrics within a matter of months of their coaching journey.

As a small business owner, I'm dedicated to providing high-quality services to my clients. I'm results driven and passionate about helping my clients to get themselves out of the weeds, to spend time thinking about what they ideally want from their business and helping them to implement meaningful and consistent changes to make that vision a reality.
About Me, Susie Horan
I live in Caterham, Surrey, with my husband, two children and our cat, Roxy. I work with clients who are local to the area (in and around South London and Surrey) but also with clients from all over the UK. Typically, I meet with clients over Zoom, but I endeavour to meet all of my clients in person at some point and to visit their businesses, where appropriate.
As a CIMA-qualified accountant, I’m pretty good with numbers. I spent 20 years working in London for financial services firms, initially in the finance team before I moved to specialise in regulatory compliance. My entrepreneurial journey has started more recently and I’m absolutely loving embracing new technologies and AI to grow my business and help other business owners to do the same. I’m passionate about helping others which is why one of the businesses I’ve launched is a mentoring service for people employed in financial services and why I work with other business owners to help them achieve what they want from their business.
I enjoy travelling, reading, walking and running (perhaps 'enjoy' is a bit strong for my running, but it’s something I do regularly). I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and am driven by my need to continuously achieve new things.
